JA Flight Training has signed an exclusive deal with Southern Airways Express to provide co-pilots upon completion of JA’s Career Pilot Program .   This unique opportunity is available to all students of JA Flight Training that completes their, Private, Instrument, Commercial and Multi-Engine Ratings (10-12 month program).  According to Scott Fank, Vice President/owner, the program is available to students because of the relationship between the two companies.  JA Flight Service is a founding partner in Southern and several of our instructors, including our assistant Chief Pilot, work on a rotating basis as Captains for the airline.   Additionally students can interview with Mesa Airlines and receive tuition reimbursement as well….see the Mesa Program.  There is no quicker and more economical path to the airlines…Period!  Southern co-pilots fly about 100 per month, in an airline environment and get paid….. Most other programs train pilots to become instructors and time is built teaching rather than flying with an airline which takes substantially longer.
